Centerpointe kicked off Latine(x) Heritage Month with a Luncheon on September 18th, 2025. In partnership with the Cesar E. Chavez Center for Higher Education (CECCHE) and student organizations like Nueva Herencia, the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, and others, the event brought together food, music, and culture. Guests enjoyed themed foods including mojarra frita, vigoron yucca fries, pulpo y camaron leche de tigre, all while a live marimba performance filled the dining hall. In addition, guests also had the opportunity to explore the cultural resources and clubs available on campus, and browse a special book displayed curated by the CPP Library, highlighting works from Latine(x) authors across diverse genres.
